The Holes in the Whole

A bird’s eye view of this course shows mans desire to recreate nature for his relaxation. This recreated environment is characterized by rivers, lakes and dams crisscrossing the course; with fishes and crocodiles habiting the waters; different species of trees, orchads of ornamental palms and fruit trees that attract the migrant birds, snakes, squirrels, monkeys and antelopes; the imposing Aso Rock that constantly reminds man of the supremacy of his creator; the general fairways, usual bunkers and the lush green of different shapes and sizes; the drainage and irrigation techniques with ubiquitous fountain-like sprinklers maintain the beauty of the golf course environment.
IBB golf course is a 18-hole course covering about 101 Hectares (1,000,740m) of land, located at Aso dive, the most priced area of Abuja. Within the course is a driving range, putting green and practice bunkers with a handful of professional golfers at the service of members. In addition, a nursery is provided for the replacement and enhancement of the green.
The club retains the services of Julius Berger plc for the maintenance of the course.
